Start is a smart display that gives users a smart mobile experience. Start gives you quick access to the most interesting content from your opening screen, even before you need to unlock your phone.

Start keeps you informed about what’s new in the news, on your social networks, and more, right from your opening screen.

Go Settings. Choose your preferred wallpaper from the list displayed at the top. You can also touch “+” to find more wallpapers to choose from.

Note that this feature is not included in Start 6 or newer versions.

Go to Settings and select the “Select Background” option. Select any of your personal photos from gallery to set it as wallpaper.

Go to your device settings and choose “None” option under “Lock screen settings”.

Start is highly customizable. To choose which Starters (the tabs on the left) will appear on your opening screen, go to the “+” at the bottom of the sidebar and choose your favorite Starters. You can also access it from Settings by tapping the Settings icon menu and selecting “Launcher Settings”.

Note that this feature is not included in Start 6 or newer versions.

Go to Settings. By selecting “Set your favorite apps & contacts” you can choose what shortcuts will appear on your screen. You can also do a long press of the hub to choose the shortcuts of your choice.

Note that this feature does not apply to Start GO, Start 5 or newer versions.

Go to Settings and select “Notification Selection”. Choose what type of notifications you can see on your opening screen.

Note that this feature does not apply to Start 6 or newer versions.
 

Go to Settings and select “Notification Security”. Choose if you want to show all notification content or hide sensitive content (which will show you that you have a new notification but not what is written in the message).

We know how important your phone’s battery life is, so we’ve designed Start not to drain it. We have optimized Start to consume minimal battery while on idle. The battery consumption is based on how you use Start.

Start is supported on Android devices (version 4.4 and above) and Android GO devices (version 8 and above).

If Start is pre-installed on your device, you cannot completely remove it from the device. You can, however, disable it by choosing “Disable Start” from Settings.
